Overview
About Me
I study Linguistics at University of Amsterdam. I am an open-minded, young person who wants to broaden her horizons by exploring new places and meeting interesting people - hence joining couchsurfing! I love late-night conversations over dinner and drinks - about everything from cuisine to movies to politics. The list of the topics I enjoy is too long for this section but if you're interested in anything that could go into the category of 'culture' we will surely have a great time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It can be intimidating to just approach a person in the middle of the street and start a conversation. That's why couchsurfing is a great way of getting in touch with locals in a more approachable way - incredible friendships are literally a few clicks away. If by any chance I have a possibility to also get acquainted with that person's couch, that's definitely an added perk!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I enjoy mostly non-fiction, preferably long-form reportage. When it comes to fiction, I am now on a mission to catch up on the classics. I am also greatly fascinated by the Beat Generation.
Music: I just discovered the great scene of modern French bands - you can easily catch me listening to La Femme, Aline or Feu! Chatterton. I also love listening to the all time classics (the Beatles, Queen, the Rolling Stones) which I collect on vinyl.
Movies/TV Shows: Most of the time I am either procrastinating in front of the latest Netflix release (some are great though!) or practicing my Italian while watching something by Fellini or Sorrentino, or any other movie in Italian that catches my eye!
