I have been hosted few times while travelling and received several people at my place. Everyone was awesome.

Interests

I like outdoor activities like horse riding, hiking, rock/mountain climbing, dog walking or playing football. I like smart movies and appreciate good reads (or just any reads, everywhere). I enjoy playing four-chord guitar songs in a poor way pretending I'm Joan Baez. I'm fascinated with US history and culture... and slightly less fascinated with its contemporary shape.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie scope is huge but I love watching polish movies of the 60s, dramas, smart, touching, wise films. This years Academy Award nominees had a lot to offer.

I listen to anything I find compelling at the moment. If I had to name the favourites it would probably be Disraeli Gears by Cream, all of Velvet Underground, and Forever Changes by Love. At the same time I can listen to French trip hop or electronics...so try to define me, haha! Due to my interest in singing I've learned a bit about jazz standards too. My top classics are Beethoven symphonies.

I dig american literature: Steinbeck, Faulkner, Bukowski, beatnicks, Harper Lee, Wharton, Capote, Roth, Vonnegut... On the opposite I like works of Dostojewski, Bulhakow, Czechow, Tolstoj. Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Polish writers from Mloda Polska and interwar period.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting in a hot spring in the middle of the CA desert, sipping warm beer and watching meteor shower at 2 AM, with few people I shared a car ride with.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to do an intravenous injection in a horse...or speak polish but I don't think anyone would like to learn this crazy language. I would love to learn how to whistle with my fingers.
