I'm from Italy, I moved to the US Texas, in 2013 for my phd. I'm studying what in human medicine is known as Crohn's disease and/or Ulcerative Colitis, but in dogs. My goal is to find some marker that will help the diagnosis of this disease without putting our pets in invasive and sometime dangerous procedures.

I live with my Rottweiler Nita, my Brazilian roommate, and my tri bike :-) They are all really nice!

I consider myself an amateur triathlete, I love to run, cycling, and my least favorite is swimming. I'm training for my first Ironman in November 2017 in Florida.

What else about me, I'm a very curious person, I like to read a lot about new things, I like going to the movie and enjoy time with my friends outdoor, hiking or just sitting at a bar. I love to enjoy life when it's possible. Nobody is so busy that can't enjoy life. I like to give to others, I like to start with a smile.
