To meet and become friends with fellow travelers. To spend enough time in the cities I visit to get a good feel for it. To learn to relax more and absorb as much as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently on a backpacking trip in Europe. So far I've been to Dublin, London and Glasgow, not sure where I'll end up next :) I'm taking this trip in my break from school. I graduated in the spring with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati and I'll be heading to law school next fall. With my degree in engineering I'll probably focus in intellectual property law.

I've lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, most of my life, although I have been out the US before this trip, specifically Germany and Austria.

Interests

I like to stay active (mostly because I have a very hard time going to the gym :)). One of my favorite things to do is rock climb. I'll go to a gym back home for climbing pretty often, I just started climbing outdoors as well. Salsa dancing is another of my favorites! No matter how bad of a day or week I'm having, salsa always has the ability to make me happy again.

My newest hobby is scuba diving. I was certified about two months ago, and I've had a chance to dive in Ohio and California.

Music, Movies, and Books

The only thing I really miss during my trip to Europe is the newest episodes of The Walking Dead... one of my all time favorite shows, along with Breaking Bad, Parks and Rec and The Office. Movie preferences vary widely. Some all time favorites include Shawshank Redemption, The Departed, The Sound of Music, any Disney movie, Seabiscuit, Catch Me if You Can.

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan.... to the point where when the books came out I was waiting at midnight to get them.

Teach, Learn, Share

Someone to dance salsa with or a scuba diving buddy. Or I'm just happy to sit, chat and get to know someone new.
