To change the world, through various means, including economic redistribution. I am a believer in the philosophy of ethical economy and I believe that the best thing are in the simplest of things, something I aim to share with others.

ABOUT ME

My name is Francesco Ippolit. I am 40 years old. I am a philosophical farmer. The name of my farm is Agriturismo Sor Giulio. It is located in Fara Sabina near Rome. I am one of the founders of the Italian Eticonomia movement, something I am happy to tell you about when and if we meet. I have many animals on my farm, including: chickens, dogs and a horse. I love nature and try to live from the things I produce.

I am a warm person and so are the people living on the farm with me. Sometimes my teenage son (a thoughtful and sweet boy) comes to stay, but most of the time it is myself, my farming partner, Umberto, and his grandmother, Luigina.

We welcome people into our home through Airbnb, couchsurfing, wwoofing and workaway (if you are interested in a long stay or extending your stay, let me know, there is the possibility of volunteering work).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Exploring new possibilities, how ti live in nature and for example the philosophies of Eticonomia. As well as giving you the chance to be in nature on my lovely farm.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have been hosted once and enjoyed my time with my host. Otherwise, I have hosted many people, some of which I have very fond memories and some I even keep in touch with. I hope to form new bonds on CS, people who can hopefully stay friends and or partake in my current and future projects.

My horse, organic agriculture, sports (e.g. swimming, running, ice-skating, skiing). In my restaurant I do traditional Italian cooking.
