About Me

figure out my life

I love ice cream and climbing trees and buildings. I believe in living for living. I don't talk about math that much, but I get very excited about it and computational biology and enjoy talking about advancements in STEMs fields as well as how they link to postmodern theory. Sometimes I think I'd like to work in a museum some day.

everything gets better

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I surfed a lot when I was in undergrad, now that I have my own place in grad school I think I will be a lot less likely to travel and surf, but I get to host now, and am looking forward to it a lot.

they've been rather fantastic so far, I'd say. Everyone I've met has been incredibly interesting and unbelievably selfless about their time and energy.

Teach, Learn, Share

-it's really unnecessary to bring your laptop/netbook anywhere
-If you have a number x that ends with 5, for example 15 or 65, then you can easily figure out what x^2 is; it is just x*(x+1) followed by 25. Hence, 15^2 is 225, and 65^2 is 4225! Neat, eh? If you know any algebra the reason why is not that difficult, but it's still fun trivia.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, France, United States
