About Me

I’m Chiri. I,’m traveling in Europe since march 2024 🌏
I’m passionate about education and a faithful believer that if we all contribute a bit, the world can improve a lot. I like choose volunteering as my way of traveling, troughs knowing people, its culture and immersing myself in its traditions.
I’m psychology teacher and I am very interested in creating and knowing about social projects around the world. I created a NGO in Argentina where we support young people in prisons to build projects to improve their life quality, like do entrepreneurs or study a career.
I also work as a People Manager in a Software factory and one day I hope to bring the technology close to the people who don’t have access to it. But not just it, the technology is an important issue in the current world, but is not the most important. Listening to each others is one of the most powerful issue, and I achieve that something so “simple” like it, could really make the difference in our society.
I do theater and dance afro music from Guinea.
Last thing is that I choose veganism as my philosophy of life and I love “mate” 🧉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted many people who come to my city to work on social projects (I used AIESEC platform so those experienced sadly are not in CS) and I can describe how living with others has helped me grow and broaden my perspective on life. I also believe it's the best way to truly experience a place: connecting with and sharing time with the people who live there. I always say that, in the end, places can be amazing, but it’s the people who help me create the best memories.
