HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm open to meet new people, make friends, hear about experiences. I'm looking forward to travelling and making use of the couchsurfing project!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far! I hope to update this very soon though (and I've heard great things from friends who've done it)

Intereses

I play a lot of sport, my favourites being hockey, closely followed by badminton and tennis, but I really do enjoy anything (used to do kayaking as well). I love walking/hiking, I did the Coast to Coast (UK) in June. Finally, I have other interests like literature and music (playing and listening)!

Música, películas y libros

Being a literature student I've read a fair amount and I continually find it difficult to actually list favourite books, haha. Off the top of my head: The Gift of Rain, Les Miserables, Hallucinating Foucault, Mill on the Floss, Lord of the Flies... Most recently I've just finished Life of Pi and I'm currently reading South Riding.

Films: Wit, The Reader, Lord of the Rings is always enjoyable, the Lion King probably also deserves a mention... Most recently I've watched The Town and Le Concert.

Music, I enjoy most things. I mainly listen to easy-listening stuff, I guess, but also have a shameless enjoyment of R&B, haha. Bit of classical when I'm the mood.

Climbing Roraima, the tallest table-top mountain in the world, which is in Venezuela, was great. And whilst over there I was also lucky enough to see Angel Falls.

I would love to practise my french - I'm very keen to achieve some degree of fluency over this next year.

Obviously I'd be more than happy if people wanted to practise their english too.
