I am excited to join couch surfing in order to host and be hosted.
I am a recently graduated student looking to expand horizons by exploring more of Canada and abroad. Interesting to me are all of the different radical and exciting ways of living that people are carrying out all over the world. I have grown up in a relatively big city, so rural landscapes tend to be what I seek out, though I am also excited by the form of other urban areas.
I am an aspiring activist around issues of social and environmental justice. Especially interesting to me are all things related to food; from the logistics of its preparation to the politics of its distribution this is a subject I always like to learn more about. I love to visit people who are engaged in alternate or subversive food systems. Dumpster divers and gardeners are my friends!
Also quite central to my identity is musicianship. Playing music is sort of the longest stable entity in my life and something I pour a lot of energy into on a daily basis. I love to organize concerts, kitchen parties, and jam sessions for friends and peers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have yet to use this website very often, but I have lived in collective/shared houses for the last few years where new faces and strangers are regularly coming through for brief or extended stays. This is one of my favourite things about living in a big shared house. We haven't
been very active on couch surf because our friends tend to use the couches regularly enough.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can give people guitar or vocal coaching.
I have also in the past ran workshops on home fermenting (cider, mead, sauerkraut, kombucha, kefir, yogurt).
