After working for years as an urban planner, I went back to school to study education and work to become a better educator. I care dearly about the environment and animal rights and work within my communities to improve awareness and increase compassion. People tell me I'm a good storyteller and that I speak softly.

I love to travel and explore cities and countrysides, on bicycle, by foot, and really any other way possible. I feel most alive when I'm making friends along the way and confident that my eyes are open to amazing things and opportunities. I write, grow tomatoes, and pet stray cats. I also like to make improvisational dance parties and dj ambient/chill-out/psychedelic music.

Every time I look out the window of a plane and see the clouds and the land below I'm awestruck that I'm experiencing something wonderful that my ancestors and many people even today can only imagine with difficulty. Every time I ride my bicycle I like to imagine I'm flying really close to the ground.
