Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can answer this question with a famous arab saying: "من عاشر قوم أربعين يوماَ صار منهم" , which means that when someone stays with new people for a period of time they become one of them, and this is why I chose CouchSurfing so that I get to know new people from new cultures and areas of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Electronic Dance Music (In general) and Music with Oud (which is a short-neck lute-type, pear-shaped stringed instrument commonly used in Persian, Greek, Turkish, Byzantine, Arabian, Armenian, North African (Chaabi, Classical, and Spanish Andalusian), Somali and Middle Eastern music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one amazing thing I've done (at least in my opinion) is visiting Syria in 2010 when it was a peaceful country with nice people and a very interesting culture, and the most important it was a real heaven on earth !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think that the most interesting thing that I can share with hosts is our traditional beautiful Arabic culture and the amazing life we Arabs live and beautiful countries we have especially my homeland Palestine, since the western world holds a very bad picture of Arabs life. First I would recommend going to the traditional cafes where a lot of people go on a daily basis there to play cards, talk to each other and smoke Hookah. Then we would go to the archaeological and religious sites here in Palestine, from the church of nativity to the beautiful sites of Jericho, I would also recommend going on a hike in the beautiful mountains of Palestine.

Countries I’ve Visited

Jordan, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
