My name is Ahmad, I'm Egyptian from the capital city Cairo. Recently living in Turkey. I've visited Turkey 3 times before for tourism before moving here for work and settling. That was actually a turning point in my whole life. I wonder so much the inner differences in the Turkish culture from one region to another, and if I have the chance I'd love to visit many cities in Turkey. More futuristic hopes, I wish actually to visit many countries all over the world, I love traveling and trying new things and seeing life from different perspectives that I didn't know would exist, yet unfortunately, I traveled abroad and alone for the first time in my life only in 2014, so more is yet to come

Music, Movies, and Books

Extreme metal music.. yes you heard it right.. used to be in a band and used to produce my own music.. playing guitar from time to time and knowing a bit of other instruments.. vocalizing as well. I don't mind listening to all other types of music as well it's part of discovering cultures for me.. but I hate lame stereotype mainstream poor music.

I love watching movies as well.. I can enjoy something in every movie, but I prefer decent ones rather than spare time killers. My favorite categories are usually the thrillers, suspense, crime, action, drama kind of movies and their hybrids.

To name a few: Inglorious Basterds, Django unchained, Pulp Fiction, Interstellar, The Shawshank Redemption, Der Untergang, Stalingrad, The Rock, The Pianist, The Machinist, Fight Club, The Shining, One Flew over The Cuckoo's Nest, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Limitless, Cidade de Deus...

Not much into reading books, I prefer gaining information through multimedia or short articles/websites..etc I love novels but I hate the process of reading itself; it hurts my eyes and makes me sleepy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"The comebacks"... the expression is used in sports usually when a team is behind and gets back on track to draw or win in the end, That's what I'm proud of achieving in my life, coming back from failures, experimenting and learning and widening my perspective and trying to understand "the other".
