Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why pay more money and make fewer friend? Am I right?

I'm also fascinated by the fact that there are roughly 7 billion people on this planet. The fact that different languages and cultures can change the way you see the world. That there we as humans can only access coherent truth, and therefore the best life strategy is to experience as much as you possibly can.

Understanding something and realising the full implications of something are different things. It makes sense that everyone in the world is human and therefore we all one, but knowing people from all over the world is a much more powerful experience.

Interests

Be interested to be interesting! I'll try anything at least once. Very much enjoy most types of video games. Watch anime and cartoons more than I should at my age :D. I enjoy nature; I'm fair game for any picnics +/- a waterfall. Recently started Muay Thai. Like charity work and volunteering. I'm also a very average cook, but If I learn one recipe from each host, i'll be able to throw some killer dinner parties. It can be argued I'm a tad too much into philosophy, but that argument is based on inductive reasoning, which is fallible.

Don't do favourites. I like things a lot. Have been working on highjacking the mere exposure effect, and now I have a very random taste in music and movies. Bosnian Ska music anyone?

I read mostly non-fiction now, despite the fact that I was an avid fiction fan when i was younger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been on loads of medical expeditions in Sudan, getting primary care to some of the most remote locations. Very rewarding.
