Hey there!

This is Ahmet, born in Istanbul, raised in a smaller Turkish town and lived in a few other cities.

I grew up in Tekirdag, a town in Western Turkey. Then, went to Istanbul to study at a bilingual boarding school. After that was university in Ohio and an exchange semester in Paris. When I finished school, I backpacked with a good friend in Southeast Asia and now, working at a startup in Istanbul.

After university, I had a chance to travel from Thailand to the Philippines for a couple of months. For some of that backpacking trip, I was on Couchsurfing to meet new friends and stay with them if possible. I think it's a really nice and special experience to stay with new friends.
