I work to plant trees in urban areas, and am a big believer that adventure can be had nearly anywhere. It's all about the journey and mindset. To that end, I'm a curious traveler, often preferring to take the slow route.

I like to read, take photographs, take walks around new places, and send postcards randomly to unsuspecting friends and family.

I really appreciate meeting and chatting with local folk, and learning why they love where they live. We've all got good stories and perspectives to share! I take home gifts from thrift stores, seek out interesting trees, and appreciate well-designed public spaces.

Have had a splendid time staying with lovely people across the US--especially going out dancing in Memphis that one time...
