ABOUT ME

bikes! first word. hmmm.... anything else? yeah, i love to ride. i'ma commuter to and from my couple of jobs and love to trail ride. I started competitive cycling this past year but traveled so much that i wasn't able to invest as well as i would have liked to... reading stellar books and writing some poetry every now and then... drinking good coffee, making awesome cocktails (bartender). I love to travel and have left the country or the state every month for 13 months (this past year). A...mazing time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted....but it was from a high school friend who had a friend that was traveling on the West coast. Ben was awesome man.

Interests

wine. um... yes.

swapping music. swapping stories, swapping movies, books, sharing food and cheap beer and a game of pool; or darts; or whatever. i love random road trips for the weekend or the day and have been known to do them spontaneously. i just love people and want to soak in life to the fullest. stay longer than you planned to dance to talk to eat to drink to be.
ANDDDD....family. i'm a family-gal. i come from a very big, loud, physical family (yes, the Hunt's can hug you and then wrestle you the next second to show their affection; bam!); my immidiate family is dysfunction at it's finest. we have such a great family dynamic, there is never a dull moment, hardly ever a moment without hysterical laughter. i love that. :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

while on an ATM excursion in Belize, my friend Lynsy (from Yorkshire!) and I went wading thru a cave with water up to our necks submerged in near darkness except for a small light attached to our helmets (this is after walking for about an hour through the jungles/mountains of Belize). um...did i mention that i'm afraid of the water? um, super. yeah, Lynsy might have had to carry me a little bit. mostly b/c i couldn't touch the bottom...fine, and b/c i was scared. lol.
