ABOUT ME

Well, if you asked my best friends about me, I think the first thing they would say would be: Aida is a dreamer. You know, the romance type-of-girl, believer in the good in people, always wanting her happy ending and yes, the biggest freak for traveling. What can I say? The world is too big, too beautiful and to damn interesting for me not to want to explore it. Then, I also believe they would say I am kind, patient, in love with music, books, architecture and food. Yea, I just LOVE to cook.

PHILOSOPHY

Always do what you want and follow your gut because if it turns out to be a bad choice in the future - it was the right choice when you took it. There is no space for regret because life is really, really short.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been here for a while, but I figure while planning a trip to Paris maybe I can help someone get around my hometown, Zagreb.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I pretty often crash at my friends couch in Osijek, Croatia.
Since she was a friend of a friend, I didn't know her that well, but she offered to borrow me her couch anytime I needed it and today she is an amazing friend to me. I can't say that I have some real CouchSurfing stories to share...yet!

Intereses

My attention can be grabbed by awesome people, awesome stories, awesome books. I love my friends, but I love meeting new people even more. My best friend says she could never go to someone's house and couch there. I find that really boring - if we only can live once, why not live it like we want to? What's the point of having a room in a boring hotel when there is a big, fat chance that this way you may find and get some really amazing new friends? No five star hotel can match that. :)

Música, películas y libros

RnB, Soul, Rock, Pop, House, Instrumental, Soundtracks (find them over the top sometimes). Love the voice of Alex Vargas, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, J.Timberlake, Jess Moskaluke, Beyonce, Snow Patrol, Trey Songz, Akcent. My brother keeps on showing me all these covers of popular artist, and I love them so much more over the originals.
Movies.. oh, well can u guess? A romantic like me? Of course I will say anything with a happy end can get me to cry. But, movies like Inception, Batman trilogy leave me breathless. I simply adore watching movies. They relax me a lot.

Algo increíble que he hecho

My first plane flight - when I went to Madrid. I danced on the airplane the whole time out of happiness - combination of my Ipod and the scenario underneath me as we arrived to Madrid - it was truly one of the best feelings in the world.
Second moment was when I got an e-mail from a fashion company located in New York (the most amazing city in the world, if u ask me, or anybody I know for that matter)with a job offer to come and work for them as a fashion stylist. I have always had a thing on fashion, and the biggest dream I have since I was a 13-year old girl was to see NYC. I don't need to say that that was by far, the happiest moment of my life (at least for now it is) :-)
