About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My objective in life is to learn, listen, do and give. I love meeting, connecting and relating to new people. Everyone's got a story & something to teach you. Are you listening?

ABOUT

I am wrapping up my college career and trying to enjoy it all as best I can. I am fairly chill and relaxed but I know my boundaries. I can't always travel to the 12,582 places I desire, so instead I try to host guests from said locales.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have some surfing experience now so I feel thankful and understand the cycle of give & take. My first experience was in Iceland with a generous, intelligent and amazing host. He's now hosted over 100 travelers and now having my own apartment I plan on trying to provide the comfort and experience he was kind enough to give me. I am ever so thankful when I have kind & hospitable hosts and I feel truly happy to pay back the favor to people trying to explore a world past themselves.

Interests

Travel, running, art, music, being outside, reading, environmental stewardship, helping others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Non-fiction. Folk & folk-punk. Documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the moment: glacial hiking. There's a saying: "I like water.... FROZEN". It's true. Being atop this beautifully haunting blue mass of history is inexplicable. This was a memorable experience and the entire trip allowed me to meet a small group of intelligent, progressive individuals who led uncommon but successful lives. Seeing this altered the direction and platform of my life.

Most intense: driving around the entire island of Iceland in winter. That will put images of beauty in your eyes & hair on your chest (those wind gusts are not messing around).

Teach, Learn, Share

I have experience in snowboarding and the outdoors. I have a background in art and photography. I have crazy experience in running and am currently a student in the world of yoga. I will begin to lead environmental stewardship trips in 2016... very excited!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A clean, safe & quiet place to stay. A safe haven a stone's throw away from a bus that goes into downtown Austin.
