Hey there! I'm Aidan, a 26 year-old guy living in Sydney, Australia, though I'm originally from Northern California. I'm currently studying hotel management here in Sydney while working part-time, a big pivot after originally getting my bachelor's in environmental/public policy.

I'll be doing some traveling during my term break in May and June 2026, namely to Southern California, Spain, and Malta and would love to meet locals, share travel stories and tips and tricks, etc. I'm fortunate enough to have backpacked across 50 countries on six continents and have met some of my best friends in hostels and couchsurf arrangements. I consider myself super outdoorsy and adventurous with a long bucket list, and love to spend my free time in Sydney at the beach with friends, bush walking, and wildlife watching. I'm also clean, respectful, and not noisy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met some of my closest friends through hostels and couchsurfing and have had nothing but positive experiences. I've never tried this Couchsurfing website before, but I'm very curious to give it a try as an alternative to the more party-oriented hostel scene. I love to meet people from all over the world, and as a grad student it helps me save some $ for my tuition!
