Hey there.

I'm Aidan. I live in Glasgow and In Glasgow I work as a musician and I am a student studying for an Honors degree in music. I'm currently at HND level. I also give lots of private music lessons so I'd be up for teaching you piano or a little bit of guitar in return for a place to stay.

As I'm fairly new to couchsurfing I would be comfortable with doing a skype call with a host before meeting them. I'm not bothered about what Gender my host is and I'm happy to sleep anywhere that's available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to use couchsurfing as a way of accessing different cities and meeting new people. I often like to travel to London and try and be part of the music scene there. I feel like it's my home away from home. I usually drive down so if there is a safe place to park my car near your place then that would make your couch more appealing to me. One day I'd like to go to New York. I've heard the music scene is very good there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Country music, Men in Black 1,2 and 3, The Big Bang theory, Ellen Degeneres, Sherlock Holmes, whatever is on amazon prime. It's mostly music I use to entertain myself. I don't read a lot or watch films but I can sit through a good film if you want to go out to the cinema or something. It would be on me as a thank you for putting me up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a friend who lives on the Isle of Bute. He's 70 years old and has been writing songs all his life. He can't sing or play an instrument. I help him write and record his songs which helps fulfil his dream of getting his songs recorded before he dies. I guess to him this is amazing and I'm only too happy to help him out.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar, piano and songwriting and would be willing to do any of these in exchange for accommodation. I'd be interested in learning a new skill or perhaps learning a bit of a new language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My music, I'm willing to help out with housework or shopping. Anything you want me to do, I'll give it a shot. I'd be willing to give a house concert for you and your friends.
