I'm a 32 year old American. I have traveled and lived in South Africa, Turkey, France, and La Réunion. I currently live in Tucson, Arizona, and work at a local museum.

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time traveling, reading, doing outdoor activities, and making art. In particular, I am a photographer and spent a lot of time working and printing in the darkroom. I also enjoy learning languages, playing music, and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm happy to be on here as a host and a traveler! I have a spare room to host at my home in Tucson, and I regularly travel around Arizona and elsewhere. I love meeting new people, as well as passing along the positive experiences that have been granted to me through this community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From 2012-2014 I directed and edited a documentary film. I shot the film in Ghana, and it was eventually accepted into festivals in the United States and in Paris. It was an incredible learning experience, and I got to work with Ghanaian translators, local musicians (to create the original soundtrack for the film), other filmmakers, and the wonderful people the gave me a place to stay while I was working on the film.
