I'm a 26 year old American. I love traveling, talking, reading, and laughing until my stomach hurts.

I've lived in South Africa, and more recently in France and La Réunion. I currently live in Saint-Pierre in La Réunion, where I work as an English teacher and language assistant.

I also love learning languages, playing music, meeting new people (duh) and having spontaneous experiences while traveling. I also enjoy outdoor activities, like hiking, running, and swimming. And I'm always happy to share a coffee or a drink!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm on Couchsurfing as a surfer. I just decided to take an impromptu trip to Hungary in January (15-25)! I would really love to meet locals, hang out, and hear your advice on what activities to do while I'm in the country. I'll be traveling alone with just one backpack (and lots of warm winter clothes, I imagine).

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

From 2012-2014 I directed and edited a documentary film. I shot the film in Ghana, and it was eventually accepted into festivals in the United States and in Paris. It was an incredible learning experience, and I got to work with Ghanaian translators, local musicians (to create the original soundtrack for the film), other filmmakers, and the wonderful people the gave me a place to stay while I was working on the film.
