ABOUT ME

I love travelling and have been to more than 50 countries.
I lived in Japan for 4 years and worked as an English teacher. I stayed in Bolivia for 3 months and worked as a journalist.
Before I settle back into life in Australia, I'm planning a trip through Eastern Europe.
I used to work for a computer games company as a programmer and designer. I'm interested in writing and have had a few short stories published.

I'm a non-smoker and non-drinker, but I like going out with people for a non-alcoholic drink. :-)
I'm easygoing and openminded.
Generally early (not too early) riser, but don't mind late nights.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to learn new things.
No-one on their death bed ever wished they'd spent more time in the office.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just joined the Couchsurfing web site. (Jun 2009). I'm about to go on a 3-month trip through Europe, so I thought I'd try this site out.
When I lived in Japan, I hosted lots of my friends who came to stay. When I get back to Australia and get my own place, I plan to host people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went for a night scuba dive in the Caribbean. It was great exploring the underwater world at night and then when I surfaced the stars were waiting above.
