ABOUT ME

I'm back in school completing my Masters degree in Occupational Therapy! I love nature and exploring my environment, being active and dancing! I'm pretty easy-going and love trying new things and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I always try to remember to see the world through someone else's eyes. It is so easy to forget that other people often have the same thoughts, hopes and fears that you do and even though you aren't aware of the running dialogue in their head, they are a lot similar to you then you can imagine. We are all connected, because we are all human.

I am always willing to meet up for a coffee or drink to exchange travel stories, tips or just provide company in a new place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met many great people and made a few close friends through my own or my friends' couchsurfing experiences. I love meeting new people and seeing the world through another's perspectives and experiences.

Intereses

I love live intimate music shows and jamming with my guitar-playing friends. And spoken-word poetry. I am also very interested in environmental and feminist issues and enjoy reading and educating myself about the world around me.

Música, películas y libros

Currently reading textbooks for school :(. I like books, fiction and non-fiction that make you think about life, science, nature, the human condition, etc. I love music in general, but specifically of the alternative, indie, and folk types. I don't watch a lot of movies, not because I don't like them but because I often don't have time. I opt for shorter tv series instead (ie. Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, etc).

The view hiking up Mount Yamnuska. Jamming with my two best friends. Spoken word poetry finals in 2011. Every dance social I've ever been to.

I think exchanging stories and experiences and company is a great place to start. I'm also a decent cook and love sharing food ideas! I would also be willing to open up your eyes to the world of blues dancing.
