About Me

I love learning new things. I believe the way you build yourself inside is what shapes your reality. I am a Colombian linguist, SSL teacher, vegetarian, and spiritual person who works remotely for a government entity.

One of my hobbies is learning languages. I know basic words in Korean, Mandarin, Hindi, Latin, Italian, German, French, and Portuguese. Through my profession and experience teaching Spanish to foreigners, I have discovered curiosities about my own language. For example, the way we express attraction in Spanish with "me gusta el chocolate" implies that our taste for chocolate is accidental and that we are its victim. I love discovering the incredible realities possible through different languages. I am currently learning Portuguese and French and would love to practice with native speakers.

Interests

I like to dance and have explored several rhythms. I can dance salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, vallenato, tango, and Arabic dance. I also enjoy movies and usually go with friends or alone. I love how movies make me question and rethink my reality.
