ABOUT ME
I think that we need to enjoy life in order to have a positive impact on the lives of others. So, I try to be a happy person.
Living in DC has been a great experience because of the opportunity to meet people from different countries and backgrounds. That´s something I really enjoy, so I expect to meet more interesting people through CoachSurfers.
I like to think that I´m a friendly and open minded person, who gets along with different kinds of peole. I enjoy having long walks, good meals, conversations and drinks with friends. I also love open spaces and animals (specially cats!)
Besides my job, I´m currently working on my thesis, which deals with indigenous organization in my country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, this is my very first time in an Internet community, but I have great expectations. I would like to meet diverse people, people from different cultures, religions and ages.
Unfortunately, I can´t host right now, but I would be glad to
show the things that I enjoy in this city.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I think I´m currently reading only for my thesis, I wish I could read more novels! But, in general, besides Sociology and Political Science topics, I enjoy Latin American novels, specially from the "Boom" (Vargas Llosa, Donoso, and others) I also love suspense or crime books. My favorite authors: Vargas Llosa, Honneth, Fraser, Hobsbawm.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe the most amazing thing I´ve ever seen was Machu Picchu from the top of the Huayna Pichu mountain (the big one which appers in all the pictures). The view was atonishing, with the old city at the front and the jungle behind. One of my favorite memories.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I really like to cook with and for friends. I can share something about Peruvian cousine, given I´m starting to know the places where I can find Peruvian ingredients:)
It would be great to exchange recipies!
Also, I´m a Spanish native speaker, so I would be glad to help someone who is learning the language.
