About Me

I’m currently working as bar staff at the Underbelly Festival at in Southbank London, where they show a variety of acts from circus, comedy, to magic. The only hiccup with this is that I might be closing the bar some nights which can mean I finish at 12-1am, but I try for morning shifts to fit the other’s schedule. I do not use Couchsurfing as a free hotel, I find the cultural exchange much more valuable and above all and wish to experience London with others. I play tambourine in a band, love to read, write and draw. I have too many places to see to put on a list and I‘m slowly chipping away at that list. My ambition is to combine a love of arts, whether it be drawing, music, writing - or anything that interests me in that field - and make it an integral everyday part of my life. My short attention span means I‘m constantly hunting for new, exciting and interesting things, so if you know anything I don’t, I‘ll be all over that in heartbeat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet swell dudes and get a bit a loose. People bounce off of each other‘s ideas and help propel your own, and since ideas are never going to end, I want to meet as many as I can. I love to hear others stories, so I‘m all eager ears to hear what people on Couchsurfing have in store. I want to return the kindness and hospitality I‘ve been shown as well so if you need a hand with ANYTHING at all, gimme a shout and I‘ll come running.

Interests

Anything outdoors and physical, be that long walks, to water polo, if you fancy anything in that range, I’m there to give it a bash. Exploring abandoned buildings are a favourite of mine. Anything 'artsy' I guess, galleries museums, monuments are up my street. Mostly I‘d like to know about yourself, a decent conversation can be more memorable than all of these things if our heads are in a similar place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I‘d love to swap travel stories as I‘ve got sacks of them waiting to be given away. I‘d love to share or teach anything I can, whether that be instrumental (I play guitar as well as some wicked tambo) drawing techniques or styles, or to handstand. Whatever wisdom I can pass on is at your disposal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can whip up some top banana bread and I‘m a decent cook too so if you want a decent scran we can make it happen. If you have instruments then I‘d love to jam with you and even make a song. If there’s certain events are going that you and I have interests in, we can investigate that together too. My stories for yours too is always a good share.
