My name is Aileen and I am from Germany. I am 22 years old and moved to America as an Aupair in July 2017. I lived in Houston, Texas for 1 year. Texas really turned to be my second home. “Howdy y’all 🤠”
Currently I am living in Los Angeles, California which is such a great city too but completely the opposite of Texas. The good thing is that I am totally open minded and always find the positivity out of everything.
My favorite things to do are traveling, hiking, always trying out sth. new and lots of other fun and adventurous things. And especially getting to know other people from many different countries.
As an AuPair you are traveling completely by yourself to a totally different country with another language. Living with another family and meeting all the time new people. Always doing something new and challenging yourself. It is a great experience and I love what we can do with our life!
I am very spontaneous with with a lot of my travels not all tho. But it feels much better to not work everything out in details bc the best things you find is when you just walk around and ask locals.

My friend just tried Couchsurfing out and had such a great experience. I really like to get to know other people and their culture. I am very open minded to everything. So I really wanna have this kind of experience too!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

There are many amazing things I’ve done so far. But the craziest adventure was to hike the Angels Landing in the Zion National Park.
I did it by myself and after I was on the top I had one of the most amazing feelings I’ve ever felt.
