ABOUT ME

After completing my Master's degree in May, I have decided to take the summer off and travel around Europe for as long as I can. Travel has always been a passion of mine, I have spent a significant amount of time touring around the United States and Canada, as well as western Russia.I am an easy going person that likes to listen and learn about other peoples' views and perspectives.

PHILOSOPHY

There are a lot of different philosophies that I try to incorporate into my daily life - try and appreciate every moment for what it is, - respect other people because you never know what their situation may be - understand that there are so many things that are beyond your control,just try and be a flexible as possible and go with it

I have very limited experience with couchsurfing, but support the organizations philosophy and am looking forward to experiencing it

Music, Movies, and Books

Any live music! I enjoy dancing and therefore like live Salsa bands. I also really enjoy bluegrass. I like to read, Paulo Coelho is one of my favorites, but I try and mix up the books I read and get a taste for everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday can be amazing and provide unlimited opportunities to be amazed, I feel that most times people are distracted by the hectic pace of modern life to truly appreciate what is around them. I think that my travel experiences have given me a break from the stresses of life to appreciate the amazing experience that is life itself.

Teach, Learn, Share

The beautiful thing about couchsurfing, I never know what the other person may be able to teach me. As long I keep my mind open to everything, I will always be able to learn something. And I believe that this exchange works in the other direction as well. I love connecting on a number of different subjects - music, ecotechnology, travel stories, differences and similarities in cultures, and loads of others as well.
