ABOUT ME

I prefer hosting grown up surfers aged 40+ as I am not a teenager myself anymore. I am interested about different countries, cultures and languages. I enjoy being in the nature - with good weather. Try to learn how to paddle my canu going straight forward...

I am hosting to maintain my english and german skills, And I am looking forward to improve my spanish. But most of all I am looking for new friends. If we get along fine, I might visit you someday : )

Used to host a lot while living in Utsjoki in Lapland. Have had a low profile lately.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only been hosting surfers, sometimes several within one week. But certainly I´ll travel myself someday also.

Centres d'intérêt

I am interested about so many things it´s hard to list them all...
I like to get to know new people, speak foreign languages and to do different kind of things.
I like to read sometimes, books are a great gateway to different times and places. But meeting surfers can be as great, to have a guided tour into each others lifes.
Sometimes I spend an quiet evening at home knitting while listening to a good film, or listening to music. I like world music, and would love to learn to dance better to different kinds of music.

Good ones, except horror, because I get too jumpy : )
Like world music, but also for example Rammstein. Too much the same gets always boring.
I like fantasy films and series, like Game of Thrones and True Blood.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I survived the Camino de Santiago. Walked almost 800 km in six weeks and am still proud about it.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I know how to bake good "pullas". I know some words of sami language and something about the culture, as I have lived a long time in the middle of sámi area.

I can knit the heels of a sock in the finnish way, do you want to learn it?
