ABOUT ME

I love traveling (comme vous autres bien sur!), meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and people watching - nothing better than sipping coffee at a cafe in an undisclosed corner of the world while observing the weird and wonderful folk around me! I live to laugh and don't take life too seriously. I am easy going, adaptable and love a good heated debate - solving the worlds problems over a bottle of wine and in good company. While I can be quite sociable, I do enjoy and need my solo adventure/relaxing time and appreciate like minded people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At home I work in youth group homes, volunteer in a women's prison with restorative justice and value above all the importance of community. Poverty, drug abuse, mental health challenges and first nations' experience of colonization, all contribute to my community's vulnerability and I believe through understanding and community support we can build a better future for all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couch surfing myself although I have had friends who have couchsurfered/hosted surfers!
