ABOUT ME

I am quite happy and chilled most of the time- My general outlook on life is to look on the bright side. I strive to see the best in others, and probably like most people here on couch surfing I love meeting people of all shapes and sizes-cultures and backgrounds. I love nursing for the beautiful experiences it has provided me and it feels great to support youngsters and make them smile

Couchsurfing enabled me to meet fantastic people from around the world and make friends in new cities I lived in -including Bogota and Norwich

Interests

gosh! so many :)Im very outdoorsy-whether that be in a party-dancing til the sun comes up, or out enjoying being by the coast or forest.
Laughing is an interest too right?! Well I love to laugh and be with fun loving people.
I enjoy thinking alternatively about life and seeing things from others perspectives-learning about other cultures, philosophies on life and ways of living have helped with my open-minded outlook

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books by; Linda Okelly (e.g 101 to cyprus)..Gary Kissick (Winter in Volcano)..Martina Cole..I enjoy autobiography type books and well mainly have my head in the anatomy and physiology books these days!!
I am always listening to music!! I adore jamming to reggae/ska, or learning more spanish through some great colombian musicians; bomba estero, calle 13, monsieurre perine. For chill out I love zero 7, air-plus more bands of that ilk.
Amelie, pretty Woman, Freda are my fave films-hence I admire a woman with an interesting story-like most of my close pals!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Im fortunate to have seen and done lots of amazing things!!
This year I spent 6 weeks in Colombia, learning about the kangaroo mother care program. It was pretty amazing to see the results of how this natural way to care for premature babies really works-check it out!
In a weeks time Im off to Romania with a fellow CS friend-Margot Demeter for some voluntary work with children who live in care homes.,we'll be running a summer camp to teach them english and life skills-I cant wait!!
