Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's great to meet new people while traveling and connect in ways you might not have a chance to at home. That's what I love most about travel. Evan and I donot like to stay lonely for just us.The website gives gives us to connect with others in a similar way, find new experiences in our own city, and hopefully find some places to stay when we travel in this city!

A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, 1984, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series. I haven't read anything since 1995. I'm sort of counter-acting the whole new-intellectual thing.. I also enjoy histories, biographies, travel books (both info guides and travel journals), photography and anthropology books.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My guests can expect an air-mattress and/or an over-sized couch, fresh sheets and blankets, pillows, a full kitchen with free eggs in the morning, and a gorgeous view.

I have a car, soon will have a plane, and am happy to guide you in person through some of the more secretive spots DC has to offer. I am also a certified tour guide for the US Capitol Building.
