at the moment living in osaka (don't get fooled by my verified location, not going to change it until i settle down - whenever that happens?)! i'm doing an exchange year at osaka university studying japanese language and culture, but back home my major is psychology. i'm living in a shared house with a friend, so it's not granted that i can host you, but i'm always happy to show you around osaka (the little i know) in case you're interested!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i want to meet you!
also hosting and attending meetings whenever possible - not as often as i would like, though
i've met a lot of wonderful people mostly on different CS meetings and hosted some! been to underground parties in london, fallen tragically in love in barcelona, gotten a tour in the alleys of kathmandu - yes, it has been great!
-spontaneous encounters with all kinds of people
-traveling independently or in a good company
-long conversations over a cup of tea
-literature (reading and writing)
-music (especially singing and playing the piano)
-long summer nights in scandinavia
-archipelago and the sea (sailing with an old wooden sailing boat)
-old, odd and beautiful objects
-studying languages and different cultures
Music, Movies, and Books
music: oh boy! i could talk about it for hours. something that i've been listening to lately: Young Galaxy, Boards of Canada, Nils Frahm, Nicolas Jaar, Douglas Dare, Ben Howard, Billie Holiday, Veronica Maggio
books: i wish i had more time to read! the latest novel was by a swedish author, but i'm also reading a lot of short stories, journal articles, and scientific literature online. i love prose with short, seemingly simple (yet complex) sentences that open up like chinese tea flowers
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-talking all night with friends or with people you've just met
-new york with the best of random encounters that became great friends
-love disco on knarrholmen
-12-hour breakfast with a person i met the same day
-love and generosity of people i do not now
Teach, Learn, Share
i can teach you how to make a perfect bread from the scratch, finnish/swedish vocabulary or how to dance in the rain like no body's watching!
