ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going and adventurous 21-year-old. Planning isn't my thing and knowing practically nothing about what's going to happen in the near future doesn't give me sleepless nights. I'm open for everything and adapt easily to new situations. I'm always hungry for new experiences!

PHILOSOPHY

Things tend to work out. Which doesn't mean that you needn't do anything to achieve your goals. But worrying doesn't get you anywhere. Things tend to work out.

I also think that if you are afraid of something, it's because you don't know enough about it. Face your fears - study it, taste it, DO it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few times; in Switzerland, in France, in Spain.. All good experiences. People are friendly and share their culture - and I try to do the same!

Interests

Languanges are my passion. If you REALLY want me to come and take a look at something, just say that it's about Spanish proverbs or the expressions that Latvians use in a quarrel. I also like sports (running, rollerskating, and watching hockey, mostly. Rock climbing is my new favourite!) and I'd really appreciate it if someone taught me to cook! I love it but people rarely eat what I make. I can also spend hours just reading or playing piano. Singing and playing guitar still require a lot of practice, but they too are dear hobbies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tarantino- style is my favourite in movies.

I listen to almost every kind of music, I'm just not so into music without singing or with more screaming than singing. Playing pieces of music without lyrics doesn't bother me, though.

I LOVE reading. Right now I'm reading the Song of Ice and Fire thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The faces of my friends that saw snow for the first time!

Also the Alps really impressed me, especially when you're hanging from a cliff at the end of a rope.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak 5 languanges - Finnish, Swedish, English, French and Spanish.
I play a little piano and a tiny bit guitar.
I can make some tasty pies, cookies and cakes. Not knowing how to cook doesn't mean you can't bake!
I can mix a card deck quite fast.
I also have some completely unuseful information that I'm more than happy to share.
