ABOUT ME

a man must have CHAOS yet within him to be able to give birth to a dancing star...

For "all about me" - there is no time, no space and - no need, you've got to find it out by yourselves. But here are some essential data :
- grew up on the sea-side,
- liked geography, maths and physics most when at school,
- sport management and organizational culture were my main interests at the uni (apart from having fun, of course),
- used to be a dancer,
- as a child - I wanted to become a soldier, seriously! I like shooting :P and tanks! - they are just so fascinating...!!
- taken to the mountains for the first time in the age of 3 - fell in love with mountain trekking then - and that emotion is still getting even stronger!!
- optimistic, crazy, smiling almost all the time,
- "Dark Angel" :P,
- I like spinach,
- like visiting new places, meeting new people, discovering new things,
- an active person I am, sometimes I'm doing few things in the same time, don't like waisting my time,
- having a good party is always a good idea
- I'm always open to new experiences!),
- always veeery busy :) and if I happen not to be busy - then I'm actually planning some new activities :)

- and... what else can I say? Just keep swimmin' !!!!!

Music... Queen!!!!, Therion, Anathema, SoaD, Pearl Jam, Pogodno, Kazik i Kult, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Covenant, IRA, Sound Garden, Tool, Keane and... oh, just so many others!! including good old 70's and 80's, Rachmaninov, Mozart and Vivaldi, especially played by Nigel Kennedy :).

Books... My favourites are:
Douglas Adams - Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - brilliant!! (ok, 1st, 2nd and 3rd part only :) ),
Steven Erikson - the series Malazan Book of the Fallen - breathtaking, it's taking me to another dimension every time I read it,
Andrzej Ziemianski - Achaja - simply no words, just love it!,
Andrzej Szczypiorski - Początek (in German - Die schöne Frau Seidenman - the WWII literature... really worth reading...
Joanna Chmielewska - Wszystko czerwone, Lesio, actually I like all books of hers,
Arthur C. Clarke - Dolphin island - read it when I was about 10, brings good memories :),
Konrad Fijałkowski - Homo divisus - interesting, strange...
Lucy Maud Montgomery - well, when I was a little girl I simply loved Anne Shirley!!
Alfred Szklarski - all his books about Tomek Wilmowski's adventures :) They are about travelling!!
Witold Gombrowicz - Ferdydurke - outstanding!!
George Orwell - 1984 - here nothing needs to be written, I guess...
ok, I could list here much more, but - enough!!

Movies... Don't watch too much, but... I simply love Monthy Python's Flying Circus, Shawshank Redemption, Backdraft (that music, those SFX!!!), Top Gun (military aircrafts!! yeah!!), Seksmisja and... Shrek :> And my latest discovery - polish movie Testosteron :)

seen... sunrise in the mountains, Hale-Bopp comet, sun eclipse, my niece's first step, fishermen coming back to their families after surviving a storm on the sea, MD-11 taking off at Okecie (EPWA), Moon reflecting in the water of the North Sea seen from the plane in the very early, cold winter morning...
