Sobre mí

My name is Aisha [EYE-shuh] and I have one year left to "find myself" before I have to settle down and get a job after I graduate from Cornell.

Just kidding. I already know that I don't plan on settling anywhere in particular anytime soon.

Anyway, I DO only have one year left before I have to kind of sort of face real life. I DO only have a little less than a month between me and my flight from Houston to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for the rest of the summer, and I've decided that there is no better time for me to drive somewhat aimlessly through the U S of A.

I've never been to New Orleans, so I'm going.
I've never been to Nashville, so I'm going.
I once went to the Boston area, but all I remember seeing was Harvard, and fuck Harvard (https://youtu.be/3KRjiQY4GT4, GO BIG RED!), so I'm going back to see not-Harvard.

Where I stop along the way is currently undecided and you are more than welcome to help me figure that part out. House me, converse with me, show me all the cool art, architecture, nature areas, and FOOOOOOD of your area.

change my life, man.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I once got up at 6am and went for a run.

Once.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

In Arabic, the verb "to teach" or "to cause one to know" (taal-lim) is derived from the same root letters (al jizir) as the word "to know" (aa-lim). "To cause oneself to know" is "to learn" (aal-lim).

Ask me about the root and pattern system of Arabic.

Really, please do. It's the coolest thing.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

shitty yoga lessons, less shitty guitar playing, maybe even less shitty vocal accompaniment for whatever instrument you play (pots and pans count).

provide me with craft supplies, and I will provide you with basically anything that you challenge me to create (be reasonable, I'm on a schedule here).

need me to straighten your wall decor? I got an eye fo dat
need me to create your wall decor? I got arms (and some skill) fo dat
need me to make you laugh? I got some jokes fo dat

hope to see you somewhere along this adventure, and if not,

then the next one !
