I believe new experience and meaningful connections with others and your community are key factors in living a fulfilled life. I seek out opportunities to learn, explore new places, meet new people and engage in meaningful conversation. I am also continuously searching for inspiration for my art. Often times you will find me with my sketchbook frantically scribbling down an idea that suddenly popped up, or starring off doing a quick sketch of the scenery.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be part of a community which allows for creating meaningful connections with others. Generosity, sharing and trust are all amazing attributes of the couchsurfing community. It is such a great way to exchange energy both as the host and the surfer!

Interests

I am an artist as well as art educator so one of my main interests is art!! I love getting creative whether it's painting, sculpture or drawing! I specialize in oil and acrylic painting but really try and experiment with all kinds of mediums. Teaching is also a passion of mine. The past few years I have taught art classes for kids which has been an absolutely amazing and rewarding experience.

Adventure and travel is also an interest. I search for places where I can soak up some sunshine and do some outdoor activities. Hiking, swimming, canoeing, hotsprings, beaches, surfing, etc are all things I seek out when adventuring.
