About Me
Hello everyone! My name's Aishat, I'm twenty. I was born in St Petersbug and raised on Caucasus, on the shores of the Caspian sea. I'm an outgoing and sociable person who loves meeting new people and learning new things. I adore reading poetry, even more so, I'm a poet myself, I write in Russian and English. I also enjoy learning languages - English in my second and Spanish is my third though I still speak very little of it. I play piano a little bit. Oh, and also I'm a big history nerd so you're very welcome to talk about history with me!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love musical theatre, especially Heathers, Hamilton, Legally Blonde, etc. I also have a special place in my heart for the books I love, for instance, Frankenstein, or Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Luis Stevenson, Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell, My Dagestan by Rasul Gamzatov, Judas Iscariot by Leonid Andreev, Cuando quiero llorar no lloro by Miguel Otero Silva, The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, etc. I enjoy watching films as well, my favorites are Jane Austen (2007), Gladiator (2000) and Cleopatra (1963)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won the all-Russian competition for young poets, so I was the most talented young poet in Russia in 2022! For one year, yes, but still!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really interested in sharing my culture with other people and getting to learn more about their cultures as well! I've been doing it for quite some time now because my culture is considered unique even within Russia so I was a self-proclaimed cultural ambassador for years. I think familiarizing ourselves with other cultures enriches us as people so I'm extremely excited about being on both end of the cultural exchange chain
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm more than willing to tell about Russian and Caucasian cultures, to show traditional dances and music, to talk about history, art, literature and so one and give some cuisine recipes
