I'm very short. I prefer green apples over red ones. I love cats and ducks. I really enjoy sitting in the sun in the grass with some friends, talking, drinking (who doesn't?). I also like watching movies and I hate raisins and coconut. I like going out and partying till late in the night, but I also enjoy staying up having a conversation. I love talking to people I don't really know and I think I'm very open minded (as far as one can say that about oneself). I live by sarcasm and self-mockery, without those I'd be nothing. Oh and I like traveling (surprise surprise).
I'd rather talk about it alongside a beer. You're welcome to join.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've mostly surfed because of the simple fact that I lived in such a small University town that no one was interested in being hosted in:) Maybe i'll live somewhere more interesting in the future...
I went to Ireland one summer by myself, where I had three different couchsurfing hosts. They showed me the better parts to go to in their city, avoiding tourists, which was grand. It was great to see the places through the eyes of someone who lives there instead of a tourist. It was also very great to get to know them! I did the same in Scotland, which provided me with some more good experiences.
My biggest passion is photography. I like taking pictures of people without them knowing, it shows how they really are. Hate having pictures of me taken though... I also enjoy art and literature (very broad subject..).
Another passion of mine is travelling. I've travelled a lot and far (Peru, China..) since I was very young. This fed my fascination for different cultures, languages and places.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very broad taste in music. One moment I want to listen to balkan beats, the next to indie. I also enjoy music like Noah and the whale, Sigur Ros and The Beatles. In movies I prefer art house (which sort of sounds cheesy, sorry about that).
I love reading older english literature (although I'm also too lazy for it sometimes). Oscar Wilde is my hero (as far as I have one).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Yeah, I've done amazing things. Love talking about it.. Might be easier in person.
Teach, Learn, Share
Tip: carry a notebook with you at all times. And a pen, obviously. Write it down everytime someone you know says something hilarious. Trust me, reading back is priceless.
