My name is Aizea, I am originally from the Basque Country (north of Spain), and I live in Dahab, Sinai (Egypt) for more than 3 years now. I am a curious person, always ready to discover new stuff, new ways to live life. A scientist by profession, I am on a sabatical leave currently. I am deeply in love with desert-like landscapes and bedouin culture, and I never say no to a trekking trip that combines both!
It must be the several centuries the Arabs spent in Spain, otherwise I can't explain this attraction I have for the arab world 😀.
My other hobbies are: reading, nature, hiking, scuba diving, maps, astronomy, and laughing!!

I recently found out that hanging out with locals is what I mainly enjoy when I am traveling abroad. So I want to be part of this big community, where I can get to know the world through the eyes of people that live in those places and of course, do the same for people that want to visit Dahab
