ABOUT ME

A wandering, free soul with a streak of practicality and common sense. Sometimes these traits clash, most often they exist harmoniously. I have traveled a great deal in prior years, backpacking through over 30 countries and soaking up much culture, history and nightlife along the way! Now I'd like to get deeper under the surface and stay for a few months or more in places that really interest me (not on your couch, just in general:) I'm currently on way to Croatia and the Balkans and will look for such opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

Anyone at the ends of the belief spectrum is missing the truth in the middle.

Sometimes you just gotta dive in head first.

Though i created an account years ago, I have just begun actually the website. i would like to host and surf, as well as find opportunities to gather and meet like-minded travelers.

I have none to date, but have consistently heard good things from friends on the site. Please, be my first host so that I can experience things first hand!

I like reading about psychology, philosophy and foreign cultures. i listen to hip-hop, funk, oldies, soul, pop- kind of encyclopedic knowledge of song lyrics, as far as american music goes.

Amongst others, ... I have hiked to the top of an active, recently-erupted volcano, dove in a shipwrecked vessel with sharks, spent time in a Buddhist monastery, partied on beaches for weeks on end, body surfed down a massive hill of unrefined sugar (think rum factory), and eaten a fried scorpion (once was enough).
