Some principles I live my life by...

- Live a life of no regrets
- Don't fall for societal pressures; live life on your own terms
- Don't take life too seriously
- All good and bad things are part of the process. Nothing is permanent. Everything is meant to happen for a reason. Take the good and leave the bad. This too shall pass.

Interests

I absolutely love food (vegetarian), traveling, meeting new people, learning about new cultures, discussions on mental health and conversations surrounding life, in general!

I will go to almost any lengths to try different cuisines, vegetarian of course. I enjoy cooking and I find it therapeutic. I'll make you some delicious Indian chai and great veggie/Indian meal in exchange for you hosting me ;) A chill/quiet evening with good food, and music alongside good company and laughter would describe a perfect evening.

My hobbies include traveling, cooking, meditation, traveling, watching documentary films, crime and investigative shows, and listening to different genres of music and mental health.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES: I like movies of all genres but my go-to are drama, thriller/suspense and documentaries.

MUSIC: I'm open to all kinds of music but it really depends on my mood. My go-to genres include hip-hop, electonic, jazz and Bollywood.

Books: Mostly non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too hard to limit to one.

- Moved to the US on my own at the age of 15.
- Studying abroad for four months in Prague, Czech Republic
- Skydiving
- Backpacking around India with my friends from States on an $800 budget covering North and South,
- Winter swimming in the Baltic Sea
- Exploring Central France in a camper van

Teach, Learn, Share

I was born and raised in India for 15 years, moved to the States on my own at the age of 15. Having worked full-time and gone to school full-time since the age of 16 teaches you a lot - independence, work-ethic, value for money, time, humility, appreciation for little things and much more! Been through lots of bumps along the way, be it personal, financial, relationships, family hardships but everything happens for the best. One thing I learned (and continue to learn) from my peers is that there's always something to learn from someone regardless of age. I have learned a lot from folks younger than me who are sometimes much wiser than their older counterparts.

Going through separation/divorce - gotta remain open-minded, resilient, persistent and always be willing to learn! Everything happens for a reason.

I'm big on mental health. Love talking, discussing and advocating for topics in/around mental health. I'm an open book - please ask away!
