ABOUT ME

This section has been slowly added to since I was 23 back in 2008. Kind of fun to see the progression.

2008: I'm a free spirited adventurer with an obsession with everything in the outdoors. I play ultimate frisbee and I like barbecued ribs. I'm trying to learn the guitar and that is challenging but lots of fun.

2010: After returning from living in Rwanda for a year, i got a job working as an engineer that took me all over the country for two years. For the next two I was posted up in Atlanta trying to have as much fun as possible while holding it down in a cubicle... great success.

2014: Since January I've been working in Arusha, Tanzania building a solar energy startup with a bunch of other awesome people! Come visit!

Now (2017): I've made it, people! I'm living on the central coast of California in the beautiful and weird town of Santa Cruz. I'm mostly surfing and hanging out with my dog, and loving the snowy winter the mountains are having! I work for a kickass company that loves letting me get out and shred.

PHILOSOPHY

Never do anything for someone else's gratitude. You leave your happiness at the hands of another - take the wheel yourself. Serve others because it is right, not because they'll send you a card and say nice things about you.
