ABOUT ME

I am an easy going person and very open minded. I have grown up in India and traveled across the forests and National parks of India. I have experienced the diversity in India and now I am very curious to learn about other cultures all over the world. I came to Europe in Aug'14 for Masters and have a been travelling during my time here. I love history and appreciate art. I am a movie buff and I understand cinema.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a fantastic approach to meet travelers all over the world and share experiences and stories. Everyone comes from a very different background and has his or her own perspective towards life which I find fascinating.
Apart from that it is the best way to get into the skin of any city you travel to, or else you come as a tourist and leave as a tourist.

Intereses

I am very fascinated by evolution, animal behavior and astronomy. I am a researcher myself and read about all this a lot in scientific journals. I am also very intrigued with the diversity of life. I am an Erasmus Mundus student for the program Evolutionary biology. Currently I study in Germany and will move to Sweden for my next semester.

Algo increíble que he hecho

1)Jumped half naked in snow

2)While collecting data in the pristine tropical forests of India I would switch off my head lights in the middle of a forest and just listen to the sound of nature.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am fascinated by insects. They are the first animals to master flight. Moths can see colors in the dark. A fly beats its wings over 200 times per second. most insects also smell their food or mate over impressively distance, sometimes miles away. I could go on & on.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can share my experiences and knowledge. Moreover I can help cleaning and cooking. Sometimes I gives souvenirs from my home country.
