关于我
Hi! I’m Akash Dutta from Assam, India — a nature lover, entrepreneur, and passionate traveler. I run eco-retreats near Kaziranga National Park and Cherrapunjee, where I host people from all over the world who want to experience local life, peace, and nature at its best.
I love meaningful conversations, local food, campfires under the stars, and learning about different cultures, philosophies, and ways of life. When I’m not managing my hospitality ventures, I’m usually exploring remote places, reading about meditation and history, or dreaming up my next big idea.
I believe in genuine human connection, kindness, and sharing stories over tea (or something stronger). Couchsurfing, for me, isn’t just about a place to stay — it’s about exchanging ideas, helping one another, and creating unforgettable memories together.
Looking forward to hosting or being hosted — and sharing life, one experience at a time.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I’m here to escape the tourist bubble and dive into real life—meeting fellow adventurers, swapping stories over coffee (or a drink), and uncovering hidden gems off the beaten path. It’s a blend of hospitality, local guidance, and meaningful connections! When I’m not traveling, I open my retreat, offering a cozy bed in an alpine tent—one connection at a time.

音乐、电影和书籍
Music:
Anything that soothes my soul and doesn’t scream in my ear! From chill indie beats to old-school classics and the kind of music that makes you stare out the window like you’re in a movie — I’m into it. If it makes me vibe, nap, or feel like I’m floating through space with a cup of Coffee, I’m in.
Movies:
3 Idiots (because life’s too short to not be a little Rancho), and Bidurbhai — a legendary film you probably haven’t heard of (yet). Trust me, it’s worth the watch.
Books:
Rich Dad Poor Dad — because thinking about money while pretending to be broke on a Couchsurfing trip is peak adulting.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Built an off-the-grid eco-retreat near Kaziranga National Park from scratch — transforming raw wilderness into a soulful escape that welcomes travelers from around the world. Creating a space where people connect deeply with nature, local culture, and themselves has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
Another unforgettable adventure was my epic road trip: I drove from Guwahati to Delhi via Nepal, exploring the charm of Kathmandu and the beauty of Pokhara, with a final halt at Agra to see the majestic Taj Mahal. The journey didn’t stop there — I continued on to Manali, Jim Corbett, and Jaipur before returning to Delhi. It was a wild, soul-stirring ride across landscapes, cultures, and stories that I’ll always carry with me.
教,学,和分享
I can teach you how to plan an unforgettable road trip and share my experiences from journeys like Guwahati to Kathmandu, Pokhara, Agra, Delhi, Manali, Jim Corbett, Jaipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal, Sikkim, Nagaland the list goes on and beyond — all without losing your mind (or your wallet). I also love sharing insights on road travel, eco-tourism, running a retreat, and creating a peaceful life even while embracing a bit of chaos.
Always hungry to learn — new recipes, languages, curious about different cultures, ways of life, and spiritual perspectives. I’m also trying to learn how to cook something edible — experimenting with different recipes and fusing them with local ingredients. (Warning: sometimes the experiment doesn’t taste good and may be injurious to health. Make sure you have good insurance and try it at your own risk!)
Stories by the fire, a warm plate of Assamese food, life hacks, and a few good laughs. I offer my time, my tales, and a cozy space to feel human — together.
