I found CS to be an extremely vibrant and open community.
I believe in space for everyone and in my motherland we believe in "Athithi Devo Bhava" (Guests are equivalent to God), though an atheist I appreciate the sentiment.
I can go on about how it is interesting to meet people from different cultures and background and philosophies but that's pretty much the case with everyone on couch-surfing.
