ABOUT ME

We live in a community with around 50 people near Odense, Denmark. So we like being with people and sharing life.

Akasha vive por su musica. Hace 'Stomp', Percusion Corporal, canta en ún grupo y toca la batteria en otro. Tambien le gusta mucho estar con jóvenes y trabaja como profesor de Musica, stomp y las matemáticas.

A Shizuka le gusta cocinar, más de todo inventar/probar nuevas recetas vegetarianas. Trabaja en la cocina (vegetariana) de la comuna dóndo vivimos los dos con unas 40 otras personas.

We are vegetarians, non-smokers, no-drinkers and living proof that these are neither boring nor bad for one's health :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We ourselves are new in the couchsurfing community, but some of the poeple we live with have been members for some years now and thus a lot of couchsurfers from all over the world have stayed in our home. We have enjoyed so much meeting all different kinds of people and this has inspired us to join as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As mentioned, we are novices in this :-)

Interests

Well, we both love swimming and when there is no snow and it's not too cold, we also like running :-). we love dancing salsa and have even started teaching it to our friends so that we can dance together.

Other than that, Akashas great passion in life is music. Shizuka likes reading, allthough nowadays she spends more time knittting...

Music, Movies, and Books

Akasha hardly reads anything but music books, but Shizuka reads enough for both :-) some favourites are ... Ildefonso Falcones, Carlos Ruíz zafón, Shantaram, the Time Traveller's Wife ... Dan Millman, Trudy Canavan, Jodi Picoult ... Actually I read just about anything :-) except hard-core crimis such as Stieg Larsson - too scary!
