About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have been travelling from Canada to Peru for almost a year. After my degree, this year "off the system" has been a great opportunity to think of what really matters.
I would like to participate as much as I can to make some little things around me more sustainable. I mean in the environment and in people´s mind.
ABOUT ME
I am really easy-going, I don´t like conflicts at all. I am very curious and I have initiative.
PHILOSOPHY
"C´est dans les utopies d´aujourd´hui que sont les solutions de demain"
"In today´s utopias are tomorrow' s solutions"
"Be the change you expect in the world"
"Science sans conscience n´est que ruine de l´âme"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a one year of experiences with couchsurfing, while travelling in America with a friend of mine. We had a common account, so I can´t show off with numerous references from our previous hosts on my personal one unfortunately ;-)
Anyway I discover that couchsurfing isn´t just a website to sleep for free, it´s a whole philosophy for travellers. It is a great expression of solidarity, mutual help, learning and community spirit.
People with this state of mind are everywhere, even if not connected. Someone you meet in the street, or in a bus, sometimes offer you a place to stay, or just a little water, or a good advice.... this selfless and altruistic people make the most of a travelling experience. I am conscious that until today, I received more than I gave, but once home I know I will give this generosity back to people who need it.
Interests
Riding sports, like surfing and snowboarding, or biking. Street and documental photography.
I enjoy travelling and make it a learning tool. I found out that you can make this experience richer again by volunteering, participating in amazing and visionary projects. You can find an incredible amount of smart or crazy initiative in this huge non-profit-activities network you can join at any moment.
So thanks to that, while travelling i discovered myself a passion for sustainability, how to turn everything in the everyday life sustainable and respectable with other people and the envirionment. Permaculture, Water recuperation, bioconstruction, renewable energy, circular economy, resilience of territories... OK, world is fucked-up in many ways, but there is an amazing ocean of solution showing up here !!
