Hi, my name is Hejer. I’m originally from Tunisia and moved to Turkey 10 years ago after getting married. I studied Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts and have been living in Istanbul ever since. I’m also a certified Zumba instructor — dancing and sharing positive energy are big parts of who I am!

Traveling and discovering new cultures always excites me. Together with my husband Hakan, we’ve visited 9 countries so far, and we’re excited to explore many more — this time through Couchsurfing. We joined the platform in 2022, but never really had the chance to use it. Now, we’re ready to meet people, create memories, and share stories.

We’re an energetic, cheerful couple who love connecting with others. For us, travel is not just about places — it’s about people and shared experiences. Looking forward to meeting you and exchanging cultures, laughs, and good vibes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is much more than visiting places — it’s about connecting with people, sharing cultures, and creating meaningful memories. My husband Hakan and I want to open our hearts and homes to new friendships, learn from different perspectives, and make every journey an authentic experience.

One of the most amazing things I’ve done was completing my certification as a Zumba instructor. It was not just a professional achievement but also a personal journey that taught me discipline, passion, and the power of positive energy. Teaching dance and inspiring others to move joyfully has truly changed my life.
