About Me

A

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I believe the best experiences in life aren’t planned—they just happen. And I want to meet the kind of people who feel the same way. After traveling solo for while and getting caught up in situations that only seem to make sense in hindsight (ask me about the time I ended up not sleeping for 30 hours straight), I realized that Couchsurfing is the perfect place for someone like me—someone who doesn’t just want to “see” places, but wants to experience them through the eyes of people who live and breathe their city’s unique pulse.

Let's cut to the chase – I'm not here for a free bed. I'm here for one or more or more from below:

To Turn Your City Upside Down: Your hometown? I'm sure it's got secrets even you don't know about. I'm here to uncover them along with you, one hidden gem at a time. Think you know your city? Let me challenge that.

For the Unscripted Moments: Life's too short for itineraries. I'm on Couchsurfing to craft those "holy shit, did that just happen?" stories. The kind that start with a casual drink and end with sunrise adventures you'll be talking about for years.

To Spark Something Real: Surface-level chat? Not my style. I'm here for the 3 AM conversations that dive deep, challenge perspectives, and maybe even change lives. Prepare to question everything you thought you knew.

For the Cultural Cocktail: I want to taste your city's soul. From underground music scenes to secret recipe family dishes – I'm here to experience life as a local, not a tourist. And trust me, I give as good as I get.

For Spontaneous Adventures: While I respect plans, I love those unscripted moments that turn into incredible memories. I'm always up for an impromptu exploration or a last-minute local event.

To Exchange Stories and Perspectives: I'm fascinated by different cultures and viewpoints. I'm here for those deep, meaningful conversations that challenge perspectives and broaden horizons.

To Contribute, Not Just Consume: As a guest, I bring positive energy, respect for your space, and a genuine desire to learn about your way of life. I'm always happy to cook a meal, share travel tips, or lend a hand where needed.

For Cultural Immersion: From trying local dishes to participating in traditions, I want to truly immerse myself in your culture. I'm here to learn, appreciate, and celebrate our differences.

To Build a Global Network: Couchsurfing, for me, is about creating a worldwide community of friends. I'm here to forge connections that last long after the visit ends.

I promise to bring enthusiasm, respect, and a spirit of adventure to every host's home. I'm adaptable, tidy, and always mindful of house rules. My goal is to leave every place not just as I found it, but maybe a little brighter – with new stories, shared laughs, and mutual cultural understanding.

Whether it's a quiet evening sharing travel tales or an exciting day exploring your city's hidden gems, I'm here to make our Couchsurfing experience memorable and positive for both of us.

At the end of the day, I see couchsurfing as a great medium to meet people who could turn your regular day into a story you’ll still be laughing about years from now.

Let's create some amazing memories together, shall we?

Music, Movies, and Books

Music 🎶
I’m drawn to songs that create an atmosphere—whether it’s a feel-good beat for a rooftop party or something more mellow for a late-night conversation. I wouldnt say I'm someone who would listen to all the songs that is put out by an artist and become their "fan" but rather Im someone who'd want to listen to select songs put forth by a variety of artists.
Favorite Bands/Artists: Agam, Pink Floyd, Pitbull
Genre: Carnatic Rock, Alt Rock, Dance-Pop

Movies 🎥
I love movies that make you think, laugh, or leave you speechless—those that you can talk about for hours after the credits roll. I’m equally drawn to mind-bending narratives and feel-good classics.
Favorite movies are: vaaranam aayiram, Kumbalangi Nights, Good Will Hunting, Arike, Hangover series, Charlie, and the list goes

Books📚
I’m pretty opinionated when it comes to books because I believe a good book should do more than just tell a story—it should change the way you think. I gravitate towards books that challenge me, expand my perspective, or teach me something new, whether it’s about tech, philosophy, or human nature. If a book can leave me feeling like I’ve gained a new lens to view the world through, it’s got a spot on my shelf. I always have a whole bunch of books that I've bought that I have not opened yet, probably my favorite book would be one amongst them.

Favorite Books : Sapiens, The Beginning of Infinity, Randamoozham (The Second Turn), Poor Charlie’s Almanack, Alechmist, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One month long Europe trip!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I’m always up for sharing stories and insights about my roots in Kerala—the vibrant state in India known as “God’s Own Country.” From the serene backwaters and lush greenery to the unique traditions, festivals, and mouthwatering cuisine, I can give you a taste of what makes this place so special. Curious about Indian culture beyond the usual tourist spots? I can walk you through hidden gems in India and the best ways to experience its diverse landscapes—be it the buzzing city life or the peaceful, off-the-grid villages.

Beyond that, I’m a bit of a science and technology enthusiast. I enjoy talking about topics like physics and tech trends, and I love breaking down complex concepts in a way that makes them easy and interesting for anyone. I can also give you a glimpse into life in Seattle, where I’ve spent time exploring the city’s mix of tech culture, stunning landscapes, and quirky coffee shops. Whether it’s discussing the evolution of technology or suggesting cool spots to visit in the US, I’m happy to share my experiences and knowledge. And if you’re into food, I can introduce you to some of the lesser-known dishes from Kerala or the best places to find authentic Indian food in the US!

Learn:
I’m always looking to expand my horizons—whether it’s picking up a new language, learning about someone’s unique take on life, or understanding the traditions and history behind a place. I’ve always wanted to improve my cooking skills, especially when it comes to learning new cuisines. I’m also curious about creative fields like photography, mixology (because who doesn’t want to mix the perfect cocktail?), and understanding different forms of art. And if you’ve got a passion for anything science-related, I’d love to hear about it and have a geeky chat over coffee (or beer)!

Share:
I believe in the power of stories to connect people, so I love sharing tales from my travels—the time I ended up in a small fishing village in Kerala, the unique people I met, or the unplanned adventures I had exploring the US. I also enjoy sharing perspectives on science and tech, and how they’re shaping the future. If you’re interested in a deeper dive into culture, history, or a thought-provoking discussion on anything from physics to philosophy, I’m all ears. And if we end up sharing a meal, I’ll happily tell you about the stories behind the flavors of Kerala cuisine—because every dish has a history, and I’d love to share that with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whether I’m staying with you or hosting you, I believe in creating an experience that’s memorable for both of us. I’m all about good conversations, cultural exchange, and adding a bit of positive energy to our time together.

Stories and Conversations: I’ve got a mix of travel stories, cultural insights, and experiences from both India and the US that I’d love to share. If you’re curious about Kerala (my hometown), I can tell you all about the hidden gems, stunning backwaters, and unique traditions that make it special. And if you’re up for it, I’d love to hear your stories and learn about your background too—it’s those exchanges that often lead to the best conversations.

Cultural Exchange Through Food: I’m a firm believer that food brings people together, so I’d be happy to share some traditional recipes from Kerala or cook up a simple meal with whatever ingredients we have. Whether it’s a spicy curry or a flavorful side dish, I enjoy sharing the stories and culture behind each bite. And if you’ve got a favorite dish from your hometown or a local favorite, I’d love to try it and learn something new!

Tech and Science Talks: I’m a bit of a science and tech enthusiast, so if you’re interested in discussing the latest in technology, physics concepts, or how science is shaping the world, I’m always up for a good chat. I’m also happy to help out with any tech-related issues you might have or share resources if you’re looking to learn more in these areas.

Music and Entertainment: I’m a huge fan of sharing playlists or introducing each other to new music. I love hearing what others are listening to and exchanging recommendations. If you’re into movies or books, we can share recommendations and talk about what’s inspired us recently. And if you play an instrument, let’s jam!

Exploring Together: If you’re staying with me, I’d love to show you around my city and take you to some of my favorite spots. If I’m staying with you, I’m always up for exploring new places together, finding those hidden gems, or just enjoying a relaxed evening wherever we are.
